BFFs Grill Me – Part 1
For the last few months I have tortured featured my BFFs on the blog – Lauren, Hootie, Corey, Sara, Kaitlin, and Katie (Ginger BFF) – by asking them questions and posting their responses. (You can read further posts here, here, and here also).
This time around we’ve turned the tables so that they can grill me. They get to ask the juicy questions; I have to post my responses. You’ll get a weekly dose of BFFs+me this month along with some random maybe-never-before-seen photos.
Anyone nervous? Oh, I guess that’s just me ;)

What famous person (present or past) would you like to meet and what would you ask that person or what would you talk about with this person? –Hootie
I’ve thought about this many times in the past and never have a definitive answer that I feel strongly about. So my default answer is Albert Einstein because I’d like to see if he’s brilliant, strange, or both (like Walter on Fringe). I would want to talk to him about the atomic bomb to see how he honestly felt about it.
If I’m giving you a lighter answer, I would pick Todd Richards (snowboarder) and Rob Thomas (lead singer of matchbox twenty) because they shaped my teenage years… and my Mom would have some embarrassing stories to tell them. She’d do most of the talking and I would just be speechless and pinch myself and ask for a million photos.

What is your favorite choreographed dance? By this I specifically mean wedding-type songs not like Hit Me Baby One More Time in a music video. –Lauren
Damn. I totally would’ve said Justin Bieber because I’m a closet JB fan, especially his dance moves and SNL skits with Tina Fey.
So favorite legit wedding-type choreographed dance is the electric slide. I just can’t get on board with that cha cha slide thing. Of course, I don’t look good doing any of it so maybe I shouldn’t discriminate ;)
Name one weakness about yourself. –Sara
haha… only one? At the moment, my biggest weakness is that I see things as more of a risk than they really are. aka I over-think things. Every once in a while, you just have to jump, ya know? Trust that the parachute will deploy.
I work really hard to stay in touch with my friends, help others, and inspire people to be the best version of themselves. You only get one life!
If you could only eat 3 foods for the rest of your life what would you pick? –Lauren
For sure eggs. Probably bread. And um… cookies. Yikes, three is tough. That means no pizza! Maybe I should swap cheese instead of cookies? Then I could have white pizza. What about my beloved mushrooms? Oh hell, this is hard!

What is your biggest goal in life that you want to achieve? –Hootie
Having a “successful” family. For me that means consistently working on my marriage and being a loving wife, raising children and being the best possible mom I can be, and having my kids grow up to be kind, thoughtful, lively, strong, and happy.
Have you ever dreamed of being a “rock star”? –Sara
haha no. Then I’d have to be thin and hide my sweets stash from my personal trainer! I’d also have to edit my mouth to make sure I’m always politically-correct. No fun! But the ability to sing part – I would totally take that. And the ability to play instruments. I’ve always wished that came naturally to me.

More questions+answers will be coming your way next week. If you have any for me, leave ‘em in the comments. Did you learn anything new or surprising about me?? Feel free to pick a question I was asked and answer it about yourself in a comment!

Girl, I’m totally a closet Justin Bieber fan too! :) Ha, ha.
Yessss I’m not the only one! Phew. It’s just so intriguing to me how many young girls are obsessed with him. But I do like his music for the most part.
I was hoping you’d say electric slide!
